All the Planners the Gals are Buying for 2024

Using a planner can be a game-changer in your daily life. It helps you keep your ducks in a row and stay on top of your game.

With a planner, you can jot down all your to-dos, meetings, and deadlines, so you don't have to rely on your memory or scramble at the last minute. It also ensures you make time for self-care and leisure, which is crucial for maintaining that work-life balance.

Not like your Mama’s planner- the 2024 options are chic, easy to use, and prioritise a persons personal values, not just their work 9-5. This is a list of all the planners some amazing working professionals and creatives have said they’re getting for 2024.

kikki.K

We are starting here because I’ve already bought my 2024 planner, for 40% off, at kikki.K. I got to go in store and feel the pages and hold the books, which really does go such a long way. I did find refillable planners to be a bit clunky and hard to use and open. For me personally, any resistance to organisation is too much, so any refillable planners quickly became a no-go.

Kmart

Some 2024 Kmart designs at a glance

Kmart has upped their game, and many young professionals in my audience are picking up planners from Kmart this year! I did go in store to feel the options (that felt weird to write)- but again, it really is a strength we are able to see these planners in store, especially if you’re tactile.

What surprised me the most was the cost of the diaries. $10AUD for a spiral weekly + monthly planner, with a (faux) leather cover…that’s actually cute?

I went to Kmart thinking their options would suit the more carefree planner friends- but nope! There are solid, cute options this year.

The only draw back I personally noticed was the print can sometimes not be sharp, and the paper leans on the thinner side for some planners- so much so, I wouldn’t purchase.

Emma Kate Co

Wow, wow, wow. “Popular” would be an understatement. Majority of people who shared what planners and diaries they’re picking up for 2024, are getting Emma Kate Co.

I guess I can see why. They’re chic, high quality and, well, very cute. They boast minimalistic lay outs with open columns, that give that extra pinch of freedom to the creative minds, and the extra space to the more organised friends.

Let’s spend a bit of extra time here because their in-person stores are limited!

Lala Land

When I say this was almost an immediate sale, I’m not kidding. I adore birds and love florals, and something about this design excited my soul. I knew if I did get it, I’d be smiling every day. There’s one design available and it caters so a specific, colourful audience.

One thing is for sure, for the souls it’s meant for, one glance is all you’ll need.

Diary 2024 Tropicana Australiana Diary

Amelia Lane

Another work of visual art. With spiral and solid spine options. Gorgeous covers and engaging lay outs. Designed for busy women who want their life on the page, and stunning engaging designs.

A bit too chunky for you? The Life designers come in “compact” versions that are more portable and thin.

For the astrologically inspired, their “2024 Daily Planner - a day-a-page planner with a focus on time management, motivation, organisation and getting it all done. It’s a light planner that loves adventure and will happily travel with you anywhere.”

V.M. Verre

Aussie, female founded small biz V.M. Verre caught our eyes for their classy and sophisticated cover, but a in-tune day to day lay out. Strongly linked to the earth conscious customer “Designed with intention, The Signature Weekly Planner lets you take control of your week, and stay on top of what's important to YOU. And it's proudly printed in Sydney using sustainable materials, so you're starting the year right in every way.”

Their strong values can be explored here, at their about page.

Steph Pase

Founder Steph Pase writes “I'm a mother of two girls, blogger and lover of interiors and organisation. My mission is to give you everything you need to lead a more organised life!”. You can see this reflected in the layout and themes of her planners.

We especially appreciated the open columns of the signature planner and the understated design that stays consistent page to page.

Saint Belford

Finishing off very strong with Saint Belford, and my planner for the last two years. A tried and true lay out, Saint Belford releases different colour ways and three versions of their famous “curation” planner. Curation is for the considerate, intentional individual who enjoy writing their plans. I personally found I wasn’t utilising the entire Curation the first year I purchase, so opted for the “mini” version on my second visit, which is getting lots of love.

For 2024 I decided to switch it up for something more flexible and portable, but I still have so much love for my Curation planner. They also have a A4 version, which is something not all hard case planners have to offer!

To Wrap Up

Picking the perfect 2024 planner is all about tailoring it to your vibe and needs. Think about what size suits you, whether you prefer daily, weekly, or monthly layouts, and if you want extras like goal-setting sections. Are you into doodling, stickers, or just clean and simple designs?

Since we are on the topic, we personally think a 2024 planner is not a suitable gift, unless you know the person better than the back of your hand.

Why? Planners are so personal, and what you might enjoy, might be a turn off- of what you might not even consider can be a potential non negotiable! Tread with caution!
