The 13 Best Perfumes Under $100 AUD
Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 59, $43.00 to $64.00

My favourite cheirosa of all time. Imagine a fluffy whipped cream sort of vanilla, some sugar crystals and powdery sweet violet petals.
One of my beta blocker scents, because something about it is incredibly calming and soothing to my nervous system.
The Body Shop White Musk, $39.00

This was popular back in the day, but we’ve got to bring it back because it’s incredible.
It reminds me so much of my favourite musk – a clean and powdery musk smell that is incredible alone or layered.
Glossier You Solid Perfume, $57.00

The original pink pepper, ambrette and musk scent. I love the solid not only for the convenience of taking it in my purse and not having to worry about it smashing, but also because it makes reapplication so easy.
It adds an instant level of chicness to your vibe.
Odesse Crème Santal, $89.95

I love this brand and so many of their scents, but this is my current favourite from them.
This is a beautiful true sandalwood scent that has a gorgeous creamy and faintly sweet drydown – the fragrance equivalence of wearing a white linen set.
Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Solid Perfume, $94.00

Cedrus is my baby, so of course I love the solid as well. This is a gorgeous, chic cedar scent with some gorgeous cosy spices in there.
In edp form it smells like a crystal sculpture of a cedar log; in solid perfume it’s more like a watercolour painting of one – slightly softer and rounder, but still incredible.
Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth, $49.99

I know that some people don’t love this, but I’m in love with it. This is a gorgeous fluffy, sweet, white chocolate and marshmallow scent.
Some people get a spicy ginger vibe in the top there, but I never have. It lasts four to six hours on my skin, but I don’t mind reapplying, so that’s not a deal breaker for me.
Maison Louis Marie Fleur de Vanille, $52.00

A super gorgeous fluffy vanilla scent. There’s so many notes listed but I hardly get any of them; what I do get is the soft flower petals, and the slight sweetness of a non-edible vanilla.
Not overly gourmand. Another super easy reach scent that everyone needs to try.
Go-To Into The Garden, $45.00

I loved all three scents that were launched, but this is my current favourite. This is a true white floral scent, but it’s a little citrusy in the top, it has some gorgeous green notes there and it’s herbal.
It is the epitome of a cool girl white floral, and if you think white florals are dated, you need to get your nose on this because it will change your life.
OUAI St Bart’s Hair and Body Mist, $69.00

This is my favourite summer body mist of all time and she’ll never be beaten. As someone who can sometimes find fruity notes overwhelming, this is perfect.
Real dragonfruit doesn’t really have a smell, but this smells exactly like you’d think a dragonfruit scent would (maybe it smells the way a dragonfruit looks?). Marine, floral and fruity notes all come together to very much give Zara Larsson summer aesthetic.
By Yuliya Twenty Four Seven, $89.00

I’d recommend both scents, but this is the one I’ve found myself reaching for the most. It’s a citrusy jasmine scent with some sweetness in the base to round it out.
It’s genuinely such an easy reach, and one of the longest lasting edt’s I’ve ever smelt in my life.
Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla, $59.99 to $79.99

One of the best scents ever (let alone celebrity scents). When someone wants ideas on perfumes to gift, this is one of my favourite recommendations because it’s so easy to love.
It reminds me a little of Cheirosa 40, but this is softer, creamier and more floaty to me – imagine a fruit infused chantilly cream with a musk underlining it.
Aquolina Pink Sugar, $29.99

This may be the scent that started it all for me (there’s a few). It’s a fruity, sugar crystalline, candy scent that I still love to this day. There are some scents that smell like the colour pink to me, and this is one of them.
Some people get quite a strong liquorice on the top, so if you don’t like that, maybe try one of the flankers – but if you’re into it, this will be such an easy love for you.
Billie Eilish Eilish No. 1, $85.00

I’m cheating a little bit because only the 30ml size is under $100, but I’ve decided that counts. I was obsessed with this at first smell and that hasn’t changed.
It’s a gorgeous fluffy vanilla scent with this beautiful smooth chocolate in there. I always say it reminds me of drinking a hot chocolate with whipped cream.
Final Thoughts
A gorgeous fragrance wardrobe doesn’t need a luxury budget. Between these vanillas, musks, sandalwoods and white florals, there’s an easy, affordable love here for almost everyone – and plenty of room to layer.
