The Deciem Slowvember sale has become a yearly tradition among skincare enthusiasts. Rather than rushing through limited-time discounts, the idea behind the sale is to give everyone an entire month to shop thoughtfully.
The sale encourages people to build their skincare routines carefully without the pressure of flash sales or one-day events.
This year, the sale runs until 7 December, featuring both discounts and weekly bonus gifts from The Ordinary and NIOD. Below is a full guide to the offers, along with my top product recommendations worth picking up during the event.
Many long-time skincare lovers feel a connection to Deciem because of how the brand shaped our early understanding of skincare ingredients. For many people, The Ordinary was the first introduction to ingredients such as niacinamide and direct acids.

Bonus Products You Can Get During the Sale
In addition to discounts, Deciem is offering weekly free products for purchases made during specific periods. Each week has its own unique offer, so timing your order can help you receive an extra treat.
- 8–14 November: The Ordinary includes a 30 ml moisturiser. NIOD offers a free Photography Fluid.
- 15–21 November: The Ordinary gives a 15 ml Soothing and Barrier Support Serum. NIOD adds a Modulating Glucosides sample.
- 22–27 November: The Ordinary offers a 15 ml Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and free shipping in some regions. NIOD includes a Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex.
- 29 November–7 December: The Ordinary gives a free pouch and possible free shipping. NIOD includes a Survival 0 product.
Make sure to check Deciem’s website for spending requirements and exclusions. The brand has published a full calendar of bonus offers so you can plan your purchases around the week that suits your routine and budget.
New Deciem Releases to Watch For
While the sale is running, Deciem is also launching new products. NIOD has released a new oil-based cleanser, and The Ordinary is debuting a Volufilline plumping serum.
These two products are not yet part of this list but are worth keeping an eye out for as they roll out in November.
Below are ten standout products from The Ordinary and NIOD that are worth adding to your skincare collection. Each one was chosen for its innovation, results, and reliability.
Quick look: Check out Sam’s post on his top picks below
1. NIOD Superoxide Dismutase 3 Enzyme Mist, $42.00
Shop: NIOD Superoxide Dismutase 3 Enzyme Mist, $42.00
The Superoxide Dismutase 3 Enzyme Mist from NIOD is one of the most advanced antioxidant mists available.
It provides multiple layers of antioxidant protection by combining ingredients that act immediately, recycle used antioxidants, and activate only when triggered by enzymes.
The formula is light and water-like, leaving no residue. The only drawback is the strong spray nozzle, which can feel a bit forceful. Despite that, the formula itself is impressive and effective.
If NIOD’s price range feels high, The Ordinary’s Multi-Antioxidant Serum offers a more affordable but still well-rounded option.
2. The Ordinary Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate, $16.50
Shop: The Ordinary Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate, $16.50
This Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate is one of The Ordinary’s most creative products. It contains a 10 percent sulfur concentration, which is ideal for targeting breakouts.
It works best as a spot treatment rather than a full-face application. The formula helps calm inflamed breakouts, reduces oiliness, and speeds up recovery.
To apply, tap a little powder onto your thumb, press it with your index finger to break the capsules, and dab it onto the affected area. It is a simple but highly effective way to manage breakouts.
3. The Ordinary Soothing and Barrier Support Serum, $29.10
Shop: The Ordinary Soothing and Barrier Support Serum, $29.10
Known as the pink serum, the Soothing and Barrier Support Serum is a comforting option for anyone with a compromised or irritated skin barrier.
It combines niacinamide with antioxidants and soothing agents inspired by NIOD Modulating Glucosides.
The formula calms redness, itching, and discomfort while reinforcing the skin’s natural barrier.
The texture is slightly thicker and more moisturising than other serums from The Ordinary, yet it still layers well. I consider it a must-have for maintaining calm, resilient skin.
It would be nice to see this product in a pump bottle someday, as it deserves more attention than it currently receives.
4. The Ordinary GF 15% Solution, $26.90
Shop: The Ordinary GF 15% Solution, $26.90
The GF 15% Solution is The Ordinary’s take on growth factor technology. It features bio-identical human sequence growth factors that are produced using plant molecular farming, making it a more ethical and sustainable alternative to animal-derived versions.
Growth factors are large molecules, so there is ongoing discussion about how effectively they penetrate the skin.
However, the serum may still provide benefits through surface hydration and signalling effects that encourage the skin to function more efficiently.
This product offers an affordable entry into a typically expensive skincare category. Even if the main effect is enhanced hydration, it is still worth the investment at this price point.
5. The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner, $24.00
Shop: The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner, $24.00
The Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner is a gentle, conditioning toner that uses fermented ingredients rich in N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG). This ingredient is well known for promoting smoothness and supporting skin renewal.
The formula includes squalane for hydration and softness, making it an excellent daily prep step. It provides light refinement without the irritation that stronger exfoliating toners can cause. Most skin types can tolerate it well for daily use.
6. The Ordinary Multi-Active Delivery Essence, $20.60
Shop: The Ordinary Multi-Active Delivery Essence, $20.60
The Multi-Active Delivery Essence preps the skin for better absorption of serums and moisturisers. It hydrates and softens the skin while temporarily improving permeability for active ingredients such as niacinamide.
It feels similar to luxury essences like SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, leaving the skin plump and hydrated.
Some users notice a brief foaming effect due to the surfactant content, but this disappears quickly and does not affect the product’s performance. For best results, press it into the skin rather than rubbing.
7. The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser, $19.70
Shop: The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser, $19.70
The Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is my favourite daily cleanser from The Ordinary. It offers a balance between a gel and a cream texture, providing freshness without stripping the skin.
It works well for everyday use, effectively removing sunscreen and light makeup. Apply it on dry skin, massage it in, add water to emulsify, and then rinse. It leaves the skin feeling clean and comfortable, making it ideal for both morning and evening routines.
8. The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%, $19.10
Shop: The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%, $19.10
The Pycnogenol 5% serum is a lesser-known gem from The Ordinary that deserves more attention. It contains Pycnogenol, a potent antioxidant that helps stabilise and recycle vitamins C and E.
This makes it an excellent companion for a morning routine that includes vitamin C products. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and support overall skin tone. The texture can feel slightly oily, so I prefer mixing it with another serum for easier application.
9. NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1 (CAIS3), $95.00
Shop: NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1 (CAIS3), $95.00
The Copper Amino Isolate Serum is NIOD’s signature peptide formula and one of the most innovative products from Deciem. It supports overall skin health, longevity, and structural integrity.
While peptides do not physically lift the skin, they can encourage the skin’s natural processes to maintain firmness and elasticity.
This serum is ideal for anyone who wants the benefits of a retinoid-like effect without the irritation that can come with retinol. It focuses on rejuvenation, resilience, and maintaining healthy skin function over time.
10. The Ordinary Ingredients Book, $59.99
Shop: The Ordinary Ingredients Book, $59.99
Finally, one of my favourite non-skincare picks is The Ordinary’s book, “Ingredients.” It is a beautiful collector’s item filled with ingredient glossaries, clean photography, and explanations of skin science.
For skincare lovers, it makes a thoughtful gift or a stylish addition to your coffee table. It captures everything that The Ordinary stands for: simplicity, innovation, and education.
