I’m making more of an effort to use and trial more K-Beauty! Here’s a quick run through of some of the products I’ve tested.
I’m always impressed by the generous sizes of K-beauty products, and have even found some multi-purpose uses for some of these picks.
Dear, Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil
I've been really enjoying this one!
I like it better than their original cleansing oil as this feels lighter and is great for days I'm too lazy to use a cleansing balm.
It's quick and easy to use, as well as effective in cleaning off my sunscreen.
“It contains simple and gentle ingredients such as Sunflower Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Black Currant Oil.
The product claims to help balance the skin's water-to-oil level while cleansing.
It is also rich in Vitamins A, B, and C for their strong antioxidant properties and ability to keep the skin healthy and hydrated.”
Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash
I don’t like it. It feels a bit too stripping for my skin.
While it is effective in cleaning, I just don’t like how my skin feels afterward.
I’ve used a bit on my body as a body wash but ultimately will be offloading it because I'm just not into it.
The By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash does claim to be a a gentle foam cleanser that clears pores of dirt, excess sebum, and impurities while leaving your skin hydrated, “like it has been dipped in green tea latte!” It’s a miss for me.
“It contains 52% green tea water extracted from green tea leaves grown on Jeju Island to moisturise skin, and Grain Milk Complex containing oatmeal, soybean seed, and rice extracts to soothe the skin.
This cleanser has a milky gel texture that foams up generously upon lathering to effectively attract and melt away grime, light makeup, and sunscreen.”
Elmt Skin Illuminating Solution

I haven’t reached for this as much, but from what I’ve used so far, I enjoy it because it absorbs nicely into the skin and has a watery texture.
I'll have to keep you updated on whether it brightens my skin over time!
It’s advertised as a “skin pick-me-up from all the damage it faces throughout the day”
“This quick-absorbing, watery solution delivers effective brightening care thanks to a superstar formula that features 51.91% grape and pomegranate extracts, which are rich in antioxidants that swiftly work to uncover a bright, healthy complexion.
To boost the illuminating qualities of this duo, 10% niacinamide also helps to improve skin tone, reduce acne, and strengthen the skin’s barrier.”
Wishtrend Propolis Energy Balancing Cream
I first tried this when they had the jar packaging and loved it then.
Love it again now.
It's light, and my skin is always happy using this, as well as my husband!
I don’t reach for this as much right now due to it being winter, but my gosh, I was happy with this during the warmer months.
“This pro-biome complex and propolis-infused cream creates a synergy effect to restore the skin's barrier.
It contains 10% propolis extract, 70% lactococcus ferment lysate, and honey ferment lysate to hydrate and balance the skin.
It features a non-sticky, lightweight texture and effectively soothes sensitive skin with natural antioxidant substances. Skin irritation test completed.”
Klairs Supple Preparation All Over Lotion
This lotion is lightweight and absorbs great into my skin.
I really took a liking to this product, and I’m not surprised because I generally love Klairs as a whole.
The tube is huge though, so I will be using some lotion on my body to use it up. No way I can finish it on my face alone!
“This lotion includes the key moisture elements in Klairs toner, a quick-absorbing moisturiser that serves as an emulsion as well as a body lotion.
It is cruelty-free, alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and paraben-free.
It includes the same amount of moisturising agents such as beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, and Polyquaternium-51 found in the toner.”
