I Tried The Brand Dermatologists Adore - Naturium. Here’s My Thoughts.
In the ever-evolving world of skincare, it's exhilarating to come across products that not only promise but also deliver exceptional results.
Today, I want to share with you three innovative products that have recently caught my attention and have made a significant impact on my skincare routine.
Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée 3%
First up is the Niacinamide Cleansing Gelée 3%. What sets this apart is its unique gelée texture – a refreshing change from the usual gels.
It's gentle on the skin, avoiding any stripping effect while providing a hydrating lather.
But the real surprise here is the inclusion of Vitamin C. Those who know me are aware of my sensitivity to Vitamin C in skincare.
However, this product has allowed me to reintroduce a small amount back into my regimen without any adverse reactions. It feels fantastic to be able to incorporate this vital ingredient again.
Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm
Next is the Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm. I've been using this for some time now, and it's proven to be remarkably effective at removing a full face of makeup.
Cleansing balms are all about personal preference, and this one strikes a perfect balance.
It's not overly lush, leaning more towards a sorbet-like texture – think less intense than the 'Clean It Zero' cleansing balm.
Designed for all skin types, it doesn't leave any uncomfortable residue, just enough to prime your skin for the next step in your double cleanse routine. And a big plus – no eye sting!
Vegan Lactic Acid Emulsion 5%
Lastly, the Vegan Lactic Acid Emulsion 5% is a product I'm still in the early stages of testing, having used it only a few times. But so far, the results are promising.
It's intriguing to find an exfoliant that's calming upon application. This is especially notable since I generally reserve exfoliants for my PM routine.
The emulsion has already shown a smoothing effect on my T-zone the day after use. Its hydrating formula makes it an excellent choice for various skin types.
Given my sensitivity to direct glycolic acid exfoliants, this serum form is a welcome alternative in my skincare arsenal.
My honest thoughts?
I wish this brand was easier to find in Aus. Currently we need to order online, and truly so much of purchasing has to do with feel, texture and smell.
The truth is, you could probably toss a stone and whatever product you land on you’d enjoy.
The social media presence around Naturium is also amazing, so there’s never a shortage of in depth reviews floating around.
