New Beauty and Wellness Staples on My Shelf and Why Some of Them Deserve to Be on Yours Too

New Beauty and Wellness Staples on My Shelf and Why Some of Them Deserve to Be on Yours Too

There’s nothing like the excitement of trying something new and realising it deserves permanent shelf space.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been testing a mix of beauty, skincare, and wellness goodies and I’ve found a few gems that not only made me smile but also genuinely delivered results.

Here’s the lowdown on my new staples and why you might want to make room for them too.

1. Coco Sense Organic Deodorant Cream, $19.95

Shop: Coco Sense Organic Deodorant Cream, $19.95

Let’s start with my top discovery because I’m honestly obsessed. This organic deodorant cream from Coco Sense feels like whipped mousse — soft, buttery, and so easy to apply. It has a light, fresh scent, doesn’t transfer onto clothes, and most importantly, it actually works.

I’ve ditched conventional deodorants for years, so I’m always hunting for natural options that keep me fresh without compromising on ingredients.

I’ve tested this through a Melbourne winter (where sweat isn’t really a thing unless it’s anxiety sweats), and I can’t wait to see how it holds up in summer.

The brand story: Coco Sense was born in Noosa Heads and brings the freshness of coconut-inspired, organic beauty to every corner of Australia and beyond. They’re about products that love you back while loving the planet too.

2. Saint Jack Sponge Bath, $38.00

Hyaluronic sponge bath cleanser in pastel purple packaging.

Shop: Saint Jack Sponge Bath, $38.00

Our makeup sponges are gross if we don’t clean them properly. On average, they hold onto layers of foundation, skincare, oils, and… bacteria (ew).

Enter Saint Jack’s Sponge Bath, a cleanser that makes the job quick and effective. It comes in a generous size and makes your sponge feel brand new again. Honestly, it’s self-care for your tools and your face.

3. GlowLUXE 7 Light LED Device, $489.00

Portable LED Red Light Therapy Device for Skin Care, Acne, and Muscle Recovery.

Shop: GlowLUXE 7 Light LED Device, $489.00

I love a good beauty gadget, and this one is extra fun because it’s flexible, body-friendly, and effective. The GlowLUXE LED device is designed for scars, skin tone, and overall glow. You can use it on your face or anywhere on your body, making it super versatile.

I’ve been experimenting with it on areas that needed a bit of love. Love how the concept of being able to use this anywhere!

4. Eir Women Show Up, $65.00

Black supplement bottle on yellow background.

Shop: Eir Women Show Up, $65.00

I’ve been taking these daily, and while I don’t usually expect magic from supplements, I’ve definitely noticed a difference.

My energy feels more consistent, and that dreaded 3 pm slump? Barely there.

The brand story: Eir Women is a Melbourne-based wellness brand created to support women through different phases of life. They blend science-backed formulations with a deep understanding of women’s needs, from energy to sleep and beyond.

5. Eir Women Reboot, $65.00

Shop: Eir Women Reboot, $65.00

I don’t normally struggle with sleep, but I do wake up in the night for no reason. Since starting Reboot, I’ve been sleeping right through until my alarm goes off. The difference? I wake up feeling properly rested, not groggy.

6. Lana Banana The Night Set, $200.00

Vibrant skincare collection for night repair.

Shop: Lana Banana The Night Set, $200.00

This one is interesting because I have sensitive skin, and I’m usually cautious about products with fragrance or essential oils. The Night Set has a mix, so I introduced them slowly.

For me, some were a bit too scented, but if you love natural fragrance in your skincare and your skin isn’t reactive, this set is a treat.

The brand story: Lana Banana is all about making skincare fun and approachable, blending natural ingredients with playful vibes.

7. Polso Cleansing Cloths, $34.99

Shop: Polso Cleansing Cloths, $34.99

If you’re acne-prone, this is a must-try. Using the same face towel repeatedly can introduce bacteria to your skin, but Polso’s biodegradable cleansing cloths are soft, fresh every time, and kinder on sensitive skin. I’ve loved rotating them into my routine.

The brand story: Polso focuses on creating thoughtful beauty accessories that make your routine healthier and more sustainable.

8. Happy Bear Foaming Hand Sanitiser, $15.95

Alcohol-free foaming hand sanitiser for germs.

Shop: Happy Bear Foaming Hand Sanitiser, $15.95

Who says hand sanitiser has to be boring? Not Happy Bear! Their foaming sanitiser is fun, effective, and safe for little hands too.

It makes staying germ-free feel less clinical and more like a happy ritual. Happy Bear is a gentle, rinse-free foaming hand sanitiser made without alcohol or fragrance, perfect for even the smallest hands yet effective enough for the whole family.

Powered by Benzalkonium Chloride, a proven antimicrobial, it eliminates 99.999% of germs without the sting, dryness or harsh odour of traditional sanitisers. Dermatologically tested, non-toxic and safe for sensitive skin, it keeps hands clean, soft and protected anytime, anywhere.

The brand story: When Sydney mum Kristyn Want couldn’t find a safe, gentle sanitiser for her toddler, she created Happy Bear — a non-toxic, foaming formula that kills 99.999% of germs without sting or dryness.

Born from a mother’s care, Happy Bear now brings everyday moments of joy and protection to families everywhere.

Summing it up

Discovering new beauty and wellness products is such a treat — some come and go, but a few truly earn a permanent spot on the shelf. From Coco Sense’s dreamy deodorant cream to Eir Women’s gentle energy and sleep supplements, these small, women-owned brands have genuinely impressed me.

Supporting them feels just as good as using them, and I’d encourage you to try a few for yourself. Your next favourite might be right here, waiting to brighten your self-care routine.
