Looking for the beauty products, launches and trends worth knowing about right now? This month, we’re exploring Naturium’s arrival at Sephora Australia, sharing our approach to navigating limited edition beauty gift sets, and highlighting the skincare, makeup and body care products that caught our attention.
We’re also taking a closer look at the connection between mental health and skin health, and why the conversations happening around beauty matter just as much as the products themselves.
Naturium Launches at Sephora Australia
If you’ve ever felt like Aus is the last place to get beauty launches, you’re not alone.
Although available through their direct AU website, Naturium hid in the skinthusiast-shadows until their launch into Sephora this month.

We asked skincare expert @sambythecounter what his top picks are, that both beginners and pros could enjoy.
Sam delivered, putting together this guide, including insight behind the ethos behind the brand, sharing:
“To me, Naturium is affordable luxury. It’s a brand that uses ingredient technologies that you’d find in much more premium products…Things don’t stop at the face. Naturium has excelled in the body care category too.”
Some of Sam’s vetted top picks:
- Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum, $47.00
- Vitamin C Complex Serum, $39.00
- Retinaldehyde Cream Serum, $60.00
- Barrier Bounce Serum, $45.00
- Phyto-Glow Lip Mask, $19.00
Limited Edition Holiday Sets Are Here. This is How You Should Navigate Gifitng (Or Keeping) Them.
Not all gift sets are created equal.
Hair sets are a fantastic way to see if a new haircare range is for you, as you typically only need 3 washes to know if it’s for you long term.
Makeup sets? Mini blushes are fantastic, usually super pigmented and last ages in your beauty bag (we’re thinking of you, Rare Beauty), so totally worth it.
Little lipstick bundles can be perfect for those bold shades you’d never finish in full size, too.
Skincare sets is where waters murky. Still fantastic, and although a great way to try a range, multiple skincare items shouldn’t be introduced all at once.
Plus, do you actually need those three extra steps? Sometimes they can do more harm than good.
Our advice when navigating skincare steps is to go for a value pack that has a large or jumbo of a product you already love, with a few minis of products you’ve been eyeing.
Do your best to hold off on the sets that are 55 minis of XYZ skincare brand, as that’s a recipe for entering 2026 with upset skin.

Mental Health Matters, And Stress Shows on Your Skin. Here’s What You Can do

Read: Boring Without You Sent Empty PR Boxes to Influencers, And Some Cried. This is Why | By: Minnie Isaac
In a bold move to champion mental health awareness, and how our skin reflects how we feel, Boring Without You shocked influencers with completely empty PR boxes.
Instead of sending out the usual skincare-filled packages, the Australian brand mailed out a mirror, with a simple yet powerful message.
So, what are the facts?
Research shows that chronic stress increases inflammation, and as a result can slow the skin’s healing process. This usually means breakouts linger around longer, and scarring is worse (urgh).
What we can do about it
The brutal cycle is often made worse from social stigma, sometimes fuelled by unrealistic skin standards online.
- We want to encourage you this month to unfollow, mute, backflip (whatever feels right) any account that makes you feel meh. Unrealistic standards can wear away at the strongest of us, and real skin is beautiful.
- Have a “mini” routine for the nights when your usual pampering feels too much. Consistency is key with skincare, and it’s hard to keep up when it feels like a chore. Remember there’s only three essential steps; AM: Sunscreen. PM: Cleanse, Moisturiser.
- Fill your feed with beautiful examples of real skin. Want to find some wonderful creators who show texture, spots, and all human things? Check out: 9 Creators Share How They Feel About Having Adult Acne And Showing up Online
Boring Without You’s Range Includes;
- Make Me Wet™ Hydrating Milk Serum, their best-selling milky toner/serum/magic
- Face Flood™ Soothing Hydrating Gel Moisturiser, a lightweight, cooling moisturiser for sensitive or stressed skin, and anyone who hates shine
- For Face Sake Duo Mask, their cult favourite for resetting skin and restoring calm. Makes a great pamper moment
Backing brands you genuinely love, and that are working to change culture (like Boring Without You) is one of the easiest ways to make an impact.
Sometimes the best kind of good is the incidental kind, and weaved into our usually routine choices.
We hope you have beautiful month ahead of you, and enjoyed this monthly beauty recap.
