Drunkelephant La La Retro Whipped Cream Moisturiser
The Drunk Elephant La La Retro Whipped Cream Moisturiser has been absolutely SAVING my skin since being on Accutane!
I originally started using another moisturiser when I started Accutane, and unfortunately, my skin would sting (borderline burn) every time I used it.
So I switched back to old faithful by Drunk Elephant and it instantly calmed down and soothed my extremely sensitive skin.
It also is wonderful for tricking my skin into getting the oils and hydration it needs (as Accutane is so drying), without feeling heavy or oily!
It’s perfect for use under makeup as it never balls and sits so beautifully as a base!
Also, as someone whose skin is always red, I find it actually calms down and soothes my skin.
La La Retro is made for those who have extremely dry skin, whose barrier is a lil comprised/sensitive, needs ceramides and strengthening, who just needs oils back into the skin without feeling like you’re wearing oils
I’m absolutely obsessed and can’t see myself changing daytime moisturisers for a long long time.
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Let’s talk about this cleanser. Absolute game changer for dry & sensitive skin!
I have been on a few rounds of Accutane so let me say, I know what it’s like to have horrendously dry-as-the-desert skin.
I have tried so many cleansers out there, and this is the only one I’ve used on this medication that I’m not left feeling tight or stripped.
It feels so interesting the first time you use it because it honestly feels like you’re massaging a lotion into your skin, as opposed to a cleanser.
That said, it still cleanses the skin and leaves you feeling super soft and hydrated.
So grateful my dermatologist put me on this because I can’t see myself changing any time soon!
Maybe even post Accutane, I will probably continue to use it. Love love love!
bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Skin Perfecting Tint
Introducing to you, my hands down my all time favourite complexion product.
I present to you the Bare Minerals Complexion rescue. This is a light weight gel-formula tinted moisturiser.
It provides the most healthy and natural looking glow to the skin. It’s so gorgeous. It makes your skin look SO healthy and gives you that glow-from-within look.
The formula is especially perfect for norm-dry and dehydrated skin, as it’s packed with hyaluronic acid. This hydrates your skin instantly and plumps it up, giving you that juicy glow.
If you’re on Accutane like myself (and even if you’re not), I cannot recommend this enough.
We need hydration and calming, and the gel from the formula has a beautiful soothing and cooling effect (also great for sensitive guys and gals).
I’ve been using this product for years, on Accutane, off Accutane, and I promise you it’s the best. I also work with cosmetics and go through so many different brands and nothing compares.
I reckon I’ve purchased maybe 10 bottles all up- I keep coming back to it. My absolute holy grail.
Do keep in mind though, this is a natural-looking, lightweight and light coverage product. Use your fingers to apply for your light coverage, and you can build it up by using a sponge.
As you can see in my photos, my beauty marks are peeping through.
I am starting to embrace this and enjoy it, however I understand some people aren’t quite ready to do so, which is totally okay!
You can use a concealer over the top of this tinted moisturiser to add more coverage, and it still looks so beautiful and natural.

Do not sleep on this super hydrating essence - it is the key to your best beauty sleep yet!
I’m so obsessed with the glow this essence gives me.
