SVR Skincare Review: The Viral French Acne Brand Finally in Australia
My skin journey has literally been through so many ups and downs.
When you have acne-prone skin, you have to make sure your routine is super simple.
I'm so, so happy that the viral acne-fighting brand SVR has finally launched in Australia.
Here is my three step routine and what I’ve loved from the range.
Step 1: Cleansing With SVR SEBIACLEAR Gel Cleanser
I first start with my severe clear cleansing gel. It's soap-free and has salicylic acid that gently purifies your skin and unplugs all your pores.
I love the way how it lathers up so well, and leaves your skin super clean and fresh and mattified.
You can also keep this in your shower because it's really good for both face and body acne as well.
Step 2: Target With SVR SEBIACLEAR Active Gel
Next up is their active gel. It has a gel-like texture.
It's super hydrating and has 0.5% salicylic acid and 14% of gluconolactone, known to exfoliate your skin while also supporting hydrating your skin.
I gently go over my acne scars, my pimples, any blackheads that are mostly on my nose.
It also has niacinamide in it, which is my favourite ingredient, which is known to improve skin barrier, control your skin's oil production, and strengthening your overall skin barrier as well.
Step 3: Moistuirse With SVR CICAVIT+ Cream

It's known to soothe and heal your skin. The Cicavit+ is like a hug to my impaired barrier. It works to heal and repair damaged and irritated skin.
When I'm breaking out, I have so much redness on my face, and my skin is often reactive.
This moisturiser comes in so handy. I've been reaching out for this ever since I got it, every single day and night.
It also sits beautifully under makeup.
Summing it up
So, so worth the hype.
French skincare is viral for all the right reasons and I’m so lucky to finally try out SVR. My acne prone skin has been loving this range.
